REPRODUCTIONS OF PAINTINGS
Over the centuries, mosaic art was considered as stone painting and, especially due to its durability, people used it to maintain popular paintings forever by turning them into mosaics. It took it several years to become established as an autonomous new art and the slow but necessary steps included meticulous research and study on different materials, techniques, reproductions, style and historical periods.
